Today you will learn how to establish connection from SAP BW to SAP R/3 System.
1. Execute TCODE RSA1. Click on “Source System”
2. Right click on the SAP Folder (Source System) and select “CREATE”.
-Target Computer (Server) = Server of the SAP R/3, SAP CRM or SAP SRM system.
-System ID = System ID for the SAP R/3, SAP CRM or SAP SRM System.
- System Number = System Number of the SAP/R3, SAP CRM and SAP SRM system
-Background user in source system = RFCUSER
-Password for source system = LOGIN
-Background user in BW = RFCUSER
-Password for BW User = LOGIN
3. You need to log on as an Administrator to set this connection.
